Adding a file to a course in Converge is a quick and easy way to share resources with students. To add a File, navigate to the learning module you would like to add the file to. Then click the Add button at the bottom of the module
A new window will pop up, giving you a choice between Activities and Resources. To add a File, you will choose Resources.
Another window will open with all of the Resource options. Please note that there is an option to add a Folder if you have multiple files you’d like to share in one place. If you want to add a single file, click File and then click Add.
On the next page, you will be able to name your file, and then choose an image and create a description if desired.
To add your file, you can drag and drop a file from your computer, or click inside of the box with the Cloud icon to open the File Picker, which will let you upload a file from several places, including any repositories you have previously connected, like Google Drive or Dropbox. (See Connecting to Your Google Drive for more information on how to do this).
After you have navigated to your chosen file through the File Picker, click Upload This File at the bottom of the window.
Click Save and Return to Course to see your file within the module you chose.
When a student clicks on your file, it will open in a new tab.
