One way to customize your course, and make it even easier to find within Converge is by adding Course Images.
There are two types of images that can be associated with a course. First, the Course Image, which is visible on your Dashboard. Second, the Course Wall Image, which is visible at the top of the page throughout the Course. These instructions will detail how to change both of these.
Course Image: Wall Image:
First, you will need to navigate to the Course you wish to add images to. From there, click on the Settings icon in the top right corner, and then Edit Course Settings.
This will take you to your General Course Settings page. To add images to your course, click on the Course Format tab.
When you scroll down on this page, you will see a File Picker for a Course Image, and then a File Picker for a Wall Image directly below it. Remember, the Course Image is displayed on your and your students’ dashboards, along with other courses. The Wall Image is displayed at the top of your course.
To add a Course Image, you can drag a file inside of the box, or click the Cloud icon within the box to launch the File Picker to find a file within your repositories. You can also look up Wikimedia items here to find a course image.
When you find the image you want to use, click on it. Then click on Upload This File.
You can repeat these same steps for your Wall Image, if desired. When you are finished, scroll to the bottom of the page and click Save And Display.
You will now return to your Course, where you will see your new Wall Image if you added one.
To see your new Course Image, click on the Home icon at the top of the Left Navigation Bar.
