Converge Courses are based on a collection of Modules that organize course content into smaller units. To ease access for your students, modules can be closed, highlighted, or isolated as needed.
Closing Modules
Modules can be Closed by clicking the arrow on the right side of the module header as shown below. Modules will remain closed even if the user leaves the course and returns. This can reduce distractions on the page, make the most relevant modules easier to find, and reduce the need for excessive scrolling. Please note that closing a module within the instructor’s course view does not close the module for the students enrolled in the course. Instructors will want to model this option for students when introducing them to Converge.
Highlighting Modules
Instructors highlights do appear in the course view for students, so teachers can use highlighting to help students identify what module they need to find. To highlight a module, simply click the highlight icon on the module header, shown below. The module header will change color, making it easier to find.
Then:
Isolating Modules
You can quickly go to an isolated, full screen view of a module by opening the Course Navigation Menu and then clicking Course Navigation. This will open a drop down menu that lists all the modules in the course.
Click on the module you would like to view, and then on the fullscreen icon on the right side of the title to open just that module in the main window. Please note that this will not change the view for students enrolled in the course. Teachers will want to model this option for students when introducing them to Converge.
