Tagging Standards to Quizzes & Quiz Questions
Assessments are essential for mastery based learning, and in Converge it’s easy to tag one standard to a quiz, or even tag standards to specific quiz questions. First, be sure you’ve added standards to your course.
Tagging Standards to Quizzes
To tag standards to quizzes and quiz questions, first navigate to the quiz on the course page, then click on the Settings Gear to the right. Alternatively, standards can be tagged when a quiz is created using the same methods described here.
On the Quiz Settings page, open the Advanced Options block.
Then, click on the Standards Tab.
From here, you can start typing the number of the standard you wish to tag, or use the double arrows to open a drop down menu to see all of the standards in your course. When you find the standard you wish to add, simply click on it.
You will now see the standard above the search box. Continue this process if you need to add multiple standards. Keep in mind that if you want to tag specific standards to specific questions, you must add all these standards to the quiz first.
If you wish to finish, click Save and Return to Course. If you wish to now tag standards to specific questions, click Save and Display.
Tagging Standards to Quiz Questions
To tag standards to specific questions, on the question Editing page, click on the Standards Tab at the top.
From here, you will use the same process to select a standard. Keep in mind you can tag multiple standards to a quiz, but only one standard to a single quiz question.
